Key highlights of the appThe change history Jira can't show you - every issue at once, with the old value, exportable
Cross-issue change history
ira's History tab answers one issue at a time. FastHistory answers across a project, a filter or any JQL: every field change as a row - issue, when, who, field, old value to new - sorted, grouped and searchable.
Bulk edits as one event
Relabel 200 issues and the finding - one person touched 200 issues in a minute - disappears into 200 rows. FastHistory clusters a person's burst of near-simultaneous changes into one line you can expand.
Read-only by construction
FastHistory holds no write scopes at all - not a policy, a capability it does not have, enforced by a test that fails the build. Export the evidence to CSV, PDF or an image; the app can never alter the record.

More details
FastHistory is the newest app from Nirama Solutions, built to one rule: it cannot
change your data. The app declares no write scopes at all — not as a policy but as
a capability it does not have — and a contract test fails the build if one is ever
added. Every read runs as the person viewing, so a report shows exactly the issues
they could already open in Jira.
Built entirely on Forge. No external backend, no egress, nothing leaves Atlassian.
Change history is recomputed from Jira on demand and never stored; the app keeps
only your saved report configurations, and you can delete any of them at any time.
Works on Jira and Jira Service Management (agent side). English only at present.

Version 2.2.0•for Jira Cloud
- Release date
- Sep 14th 2026
- Summary
- Cross-issue change history with bulk-edit clustering and CSV, PDF & image export
- Details
First public release.
The grid — every field change across a project, a saved filter, a hand-picked set
of issues or any JQL. One row per change: issue, when, who, field, old value to
new. Sort, group by issue, person or field, and search across values.Bulk-edit clustering — a person's burst of near-simultaneous changes collapses
into one expandable line, so relabelling 200 issues reads as one event instead of
burying the rest of the report.Noise control — rank and sprint churn hidden by default, one toggle to show it.
Summary strip — changes per day, busiest fields, busiest editors, with a full
breakdown on demand.Three surfaces — a project page, a per-issue History panel that needs no
configuration, and a dashboard gadget for any JQL scope.Exports — CSV, PDF and a summary image, each containing exactly what is on screen
with filters applied.Saved reports — name a scope-and-filter combination and rerun it in one click.
Read-only by construction: the app declares no write scopes at all.
