SIL® Engine is a free app containing SIL® (Simple Issue Language®) and supporting functionality for Cprime SIL® powered apps. SIL® is the standardized platform on which a suite of automation and integration add-ons stand creating a powerful ecosystem of interconnected apps to help you customize your Atlassian experience.
Benefits:
- No need for strong programming skills
- Customize Atlassian tools with ease
- Re-usable, configurable, set and forget – no technical debt!
The SIL® Engine is installed automatically with any of our power apps. If installing one of our power apps, please do not uninstall the SIL® Engine as this will break the functionality of the power app.

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your feedback. The Power Apps feature is a new Beta feature we are working on to help beginner Power Script users write scripts more easily. You can easily remove the Power Apps menu from the top navigation by expanding the side support bar and selecting where you would like the Power Apps menu to display. Here's a link to more instructions.
We are still working on optimizing the user experience and we are taking your feedback on board for the next iteration. Installation
- Log into your Jira instance as an admin.
- Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
- Click Find new apps or Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
- Locate SIL Engine for Power Suite via search. Results include app versions compatible with your Jira instance.
- Click Install to download and install your app.
- You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
To find older SIL Engine for Power Suite versions compatible with your instance, you can look through our version history page.
