🔒 AES-256 Encryption – All values are encrypted at rest and in transit. PIN-based values are double-encrypted using the PIN hash and a master key.
📦 Complete Data Isolation – Each macro instance is fully isolated. Values and config are never shared between macros, even on the same page. Unique identifiers (localId) ensure strict separation.
🏢 Data Stays Inside Atlassian – All encrypted data is stored only in Atlassian Forge storage. It never leaves Atlassian’s secure infrastructure—safe at rest and in transit.
🛡️ Security & Privacy – PINs are never stored; only cryptographic hashes are saved. No plaintext values exist in storage. Site admins can only access PIN-and-admin fields, not PIN-only ones.
⚠️ Important Notes – Changing encryption type requires resetting all values. PINs cannot be recovered if lost. Each macro is independent—no cross-instance data leakage.
