Status where everyone sees it

The approval status (No approval, Pending, Approved, Rejected) appears in the page byline, under the title. No macros, no dashboards. Everyone sees at a glance whether a page is signed off.

Real approvers, real accountability

Admins pick who can approve, site-wide, with a user picker. Only approvers see Approve and Reject. Every decision records the person, time, and an optional comment: a permanent audit trail.

Zero setup, zero data leaves Atlassian

Install, pick your approvers, done. Built on Forge and eligible for Runs on Atlassian, so approval records never leave your Atlassian site. No external servers, no third-party processing, nothing to configure.

More details

Policies, SOPs, release notes and client deliverables should be signed off, but Confluence
has no built-in approval step, so teams fall back on comments that scroll away and prove
nothing.

Page Approval adds the missing step. Request approval in one click from any page's byline.
Designated approvers approve or reject, optionally with a comment. The page shows a clear
status pill (Pending, Approved or Rejected), and a complete history records every request
and decision: who, when and why. A rejected page can be revised and re-requested, with the
full trail preserved across every round, so you can show an auditor exactly who approved
what, and when.

Administration is one screen: pick your approvers with a user picker.

Built on Forge and eligible for Runs on Atlassian, so approval records never leave your
Atlassian site.

Summary
Security fix: approval actions now derive caller identity from platform context
Details

Security hardening. Approval actions now take the acting user's identity from the Forge
platform context rather than the client request, so an approval or rejection can only ever be
recorded as the person performing it. Administrator settings and per-page state reads are
authorisation-checked and scoped to the page they belong to.

No functional changes, and no action required by administrators or users.
