Access Snapshot & Drift answers a question Jira's ~180-day audit log can't: who could access project X on date Y? Every day it captures a point-in-time snapshot of each project's access — roles, groups, and effective users — retains the series long-term, and diffs each run against the previous to surface exactly what access changed (users added or removed, projects added or changed).
