Message Field lets teams display read-only, contextual messages on Jira issue and transition screens. Messages are fully controlled via Jira Automation or REST API, making it easy to guide analysts through complex workflows without manual intervention.

Supports 5 appearance styles: Information, Warning, Error, Success, and Discovery. Messages can include an optional title and an action button linking to internal or external URLs.

Compatible with Jira smart values, enabling fully dynamic messages based on issue data such as assignee, priority, dates, and more.
