Visualize. Tack. Manage! Structure for Jira turns chaos into clarity with flexible, powerful, easy-to-use hierarchy
Visualize. Tack. Manage! Structure for Jira turns chaos into clarity with flexible, powerful, easy-to-use hierarchy
Structure Cloud makes it easy for project managers to assemble meaningful, big-picture views of the project information that’s buried in Jira. Use it to create informative, cross-project tracking and management reports.
Perhaps you have a team that uses “Initiatives” over Epics. And another that uses “Strategies” over the Initiatives. No worries! With Structure Cloud, you won’t be limited to a prescribed hierarchy. Have it your way.
Keep everyone on the same page. Structure Cloud displays live Jira project data. And our Automation feature will automatically insert new Jira issues related to your projects, based on business rules that you define.
From personal backlogs to company-wide, big-picture, portfolio overviews. Arrange issues of any type from any number of projects in hierarchies of any depth.
Multiple Agile projects, linked issues and any relationships between issues are easy to visualize in Structure. View aggregated progress, time and other values at all levels.
Use grouping, sorting, filtering and other rules to build dynamic structures that update in real time as you, your colleagues and other teams work on issues.

With Structure Cloud we reimagined our solution specifically for Atlassian Cloud — it is purpose-built for that environment.
"With Structure, I eliminated the use of Excel for program management at my last company. So, I convinced my new employer to let us use it on Jira Cloud. I don’t know how I would have gotten along without it." - Mike Hayes, Program Manager, Motor Trend

Hi, Mihai. Thank you very much for acknowledging our support team (and, Structure Cloud). We appreciate it.

Hello, Jim. Thanks for sharing your feedback. We're sorry we didn't meet your expectations.
What you said is true. Structure Cloud doesn’t have all the features of the on-prem. versions. We've been pretty open about that from the start -- "Those familiar with the server or data center editions of Structure may want to learn how Structure Cloud is different." -- and we're working hard to deliver more parity. The product gets better every month.
You may wish to subscribe to our release notes to learn when/which new features are being released.
If you would like to know what other major features are planned for the near future, you'll find that information on our roadmap.
Thanks again for your feedback.
-dave

Hi, James. Thank you for taking the time to say so.

Hi, Laurencija. Unfortunately, you've highlighted a feature that's difficult for us to replicate on the cloud version of Jira.
The server and data center versions of Jira have an underlying capability (and a related API) that enabled us to develop the cloning feature you are familiar with. The underlying capabilities that enable it are not available on cloud Jira.
That said, our team plans to offer a cloud version of this capability at some point. It's not in the short-term road map but it is in the plan.
You can keep an eye on what's coming by visiting the Structure Cloud roadmap from time to time. You can also ask our support team to add your name to the list of folks who wish to be notified when the feature is available.

Thank you very much for the kind words, Yaniv. It makes us very happy to hear we've made you happy. :)

Hi, Miguel. That's very high praise coming from an organization such as yours. We are *very* pleased to hear you are having great success with Structure on Jira Data Center. Mil gracias! -dave

Hi, Alex. Thank you so much for the kind words. They motivate us to make sure we keep it that way.
On an unrelated note, we're looking forward to seeing your Atlassian Remote Summit 2020 presentation! -dave

Hi Ming Cheng, thanks for your review!
Regarding the columns configuration, users can *adjust* what they are seeing, but they will not be able to overwrite the view shared with other people. You can tell that a view is adjusted by spotting a "*" symbol near the view name. You can also revert to the saved view. By design, there's no way to restrict users from adding more columns or changing column configuration.
Also, you can use Perspectives to get a URL that always opens in a predefined configuration.
Feel free to reach us at support@almworks.com and discuss the available options to solve this challenge.
Kind regards,Igor

Hi Javad,
Thanks for the kind words! Glad to know Formula column worked for you.
We'll be happy to assist you with any challenges you experience. The Start Date / Finish Date seems to be custom fields, which JIRA does not provide for Projects and Versions. Please write us to support@almworks.com and we'll be happy to discuss ways to approach this.
Kind regards,Igor

Pricing FAQ
- How does cloud app pricing work?
Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.
When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance.
If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.
- How do I determine my cloud pricing?
Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Management (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps.Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Management, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for licensing across maximum users still apply.
The pricing structure for cloud apps is as follows:
- Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 Atlassian product users are billed at a flat rate price.
- Monthly subscriptions with more than 10 users are billed per user, starting at the first user.
- Monthly subscriptions with more than 100 users are billed per user. The table above provides example pricing at various user levels.
Annual subscriptions may offer a discount depending on the number of users purchased.
- Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for cloud apps?
Yes. Academic, community, and open source licenses are available to qualifying organizations. See our Purchasing & Licensing FAQ for more information.
- Can I extend my free trial?
For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.
Pricing FAQ
- How does server app pricing work?
Server products and apps are hosted on your servers. This app is sold as a perpetual license, and the purchase price includes 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).
You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your Atlassian product and app licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).
If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.
- How do I determine my server pricing?
Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. For Jira 7.0 or later, the app tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed Jira products on your instance. For example, if you're running Jira Software (500 users) and Jira Service Management (25 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. For versions of Jira prior to 7.0, the app tier should match the licensed user tier for Jira. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Jira license, the two licenses should match exactly. Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Management, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for the license tier still apply.
- Can I install this app in a Data Center product?
Yes, this app has a Data Center approved version. If you're using a Data Center product, you should install the Data Center version of the app.
- What type of license do I need if I'm using this app in a Data Center product?
Because this app has a Data Center approved version, you should purchase a Data Center license for the app.
If you already own a server license for this app, you can continue using the server license in your Data Center product for a limited period of time.
- Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for server apps?
For server apps, academic licenses are available at a 50% discount if you have an academic license for your Atlassian product.
Community and open-source licenses are available for server apps. Learn more about community and open source licenses.
- Can I extend my free trial?
For server apps, you can extend your app trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the app listing in UPM from your Atlassian product, and you're all set.
- How can I buy apps for my legacy Jira Server or Confluence Server license?
If you own a legacy Jira Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy app pricing is no longer available. You have two options for app purchasing:
- Purchase the app at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
- Renew your Jira or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the app at the same tier.
