Recurring Issues turns any Jira issue into a repeating one: open it, set a schedule in the panel, and the app creates the next issue for you — maintenance checks, standing agendas, periodic reviews.
What the new issue contains. The rule holds a summary, a target project and an issue type, and those three are what each new issue gets. It is a fresh issue on a schedule, not a copy: description, assignee, priority, labels, components, due date and custom fields are not carried over and start empty.
Schedules are daily, weekly or monthly, every N intervals; specific weekdays; and for monthly either a day of the month (the 31st still works in February) or a pattern like the first Monday or the last Friday. Scheduled jobs run once a day, so the time you pick is the earliest moment, not an exact one.
Saving or deleting a rule requires that you may create issues in the project it targets. Built by Ballon Apps. Available in English.
