A safety net for deleted work items
IssueRescue saves snapshots of work items while they exist. If one is deleted, Jira admins can find it in a dedicated recovery list without leaving Jira.
Restore in one click as a new work item
With a saved snapshot, supported fields, comments and worklogs are recreated on a new work item with a new key. Without one, recovery is limited and IssueRescue warns you.

When a saved snapshot exists, the work item’s description and supported fields are recreated on the new work item, so the restored item keeps its saved content.

Recovery from a saved snapshot
- With a snapshot: supported fields, comments and worklogs are recreated on a new work item with a new key
- Without one: a deletion record may recover only the summary, work item type and parent, with a limited-recovery warning
- Work items deleted before installation can’t be recovered
