Annotate PDFs right on the page
Highlight, draw, add shapes, arrows, notes and comments to any PDF attached to a Confluence page. Saving attaches an annotated copy next to the original; later saves add versions.
Redaction that really removes content
Black out names, numbers or whole sections. What's under the box is removed from the saved file, so it can't be copied, searched or recovered. Reorder, turn, delete or add pages too.
Runs entirely on Atlassian
No outside servers and no copies of your files. PDFs open in your browser and save back to the page, and access follows Confluence page permissions.

PDF Annotator & Redactor lets teams annotate, redact and reorganise the PDFs attached to Confluence pages and blog posts, without downloading files or using outside tools.
- Annotate with highlights, underlines, strike-throughs, pen, shapes, arrows, text boxes and comments.
- Redact areas or selected text; the content under each box is removed from the saved file.
- Edit pages: reorder, turn, delete, add blank pages or pages from another PDF on the page.
- Every save adds a version. Go back to any earlier one, or start again from the original.
- The macro shows a page's PDFs with previews, in regular, compact or previews-only layouts.
- Search, thumbnails, zoom, print and download. PDFs up to 25 MB and 500 pages.
Originals are never changed, and access follows Confluence page permissions. Built on Forge, the app runs entirely on Atlassian and keeps no copy of your documents. Free for sites with up to 10 users.
