The hard part of any schedule is what to do when the last one is still open. Recur asks per template: create it anyway, skip this round, or hold it until the previous issue closes.
Every run accounted for
Run history per template shows the issue each run created, or why it did not: skipped because the last one was open, or failed because Jira rejected a field. Failed runs retry in one click.

Build the issue once: issue type, summary, description, priority, labels, components, and a due date N days out. {{date}} and {{n}} fill themselves in on each run, and the assignee can rotate through a list.
Pick the cadence — daily, weekly on chosen days, or monthly on a date — and its time zone. 09:00 stays 09:00 across a daylight saving change, and monthly on the 31st falls back to the last day of shorter months. The editor previews the next ten runs before you save.
