Showing details for Cloud

Key highlights of the appNudge, update, and transition Jira issues on a schedule — and see exactly what each rule will touch before it runs

More than reminders: comment, update, transition

Write a JQL query once. On the schedule you choose, the app posts a comment that mentions the assignee, sets priority or labels, or moves issues through your workflow. It does not just notify — it changes the issues.

Every run tells you what it skipped and why

Each run records what it matched, what it changed, and what it skipped. When an issue is skipped, the log names the issue and the reason, so you are never left guessing.

Catch mistakes before a rule ever runs

Save a rule with a transition name that does not exist and the app says so, listing the names it actually found. With a dry run and a cap of 100 issues per run, a typo cannot notify a thousand people.

More details

Who it’s for: Jira site admins and team leads who keep a backlog healthy — nudging stale work, closing resolved issues, and keeping fields tidy without doing it by hand.

Key scenarios: Remind assignees before a due date with a normal Jira mention. Nudge issues nobody has touched in a week. Close resolved issues after 14 days with a transition rule. Sweep labels and priorities on a weekly schedule.

Every rule has a dry run, a cap of 100 issues per run, and a per-issue cooldown, so a mistake stays small. Free for sites with up to 10 users.

Good to know: English only. Schedules are hourly — you pick the hour, not the minute. Jira Service Management issues are skipped by design, so a customer never sees an internal nudge. Only site administrators manage rules, and the app checks the rule author’s permissions on every issue before acting. Runs on Atlassian: no network calls outside Atlassian, data stays in Forge storage, logs are kept for 90 days.
