Key highlights of the appTurn logged time into invoices your accountant can import, without leaving Jira
See the invoice before the client does
Pick a client, a project and a period, and every worklog lands on a line at the rate that actually applies. Retainers and discounts sit on the same list. Nothing is issued until you have looked at it.
A pre-flight audit before you send
The same work billed twice, hours that cannot fit into a day, a description that names another client. The audit reads the draft and points at each one. It changes nothing, it only tells you.
Rates the way an agency keeps them
Per client, per project, per person, and the most specific one wins. The rate on the invoice is the contract rate, without anyone having to remember which deal this project was under.

More details
Agencies bill from Jira worklogs, and they do it in a spreadsheet, once a month, under time pressure. The spreadsheet is where the money leaks: work billed at no rate, the same week billed twice, a rounding difference accounting spends an afternoon on. Worklog Invoices does that pass inside Jira. Pick a client, a project and a period, look at the preview, and issue. The time that went onto the invoice is claimed and cannot land on another one; voiding the invoice releases it again. Rates resolve per client, project or assignee, and the most specific one wins. A pre-flight audit reads the draft before it leaves and points at duplicated work, time logged outside the period, and lines with zero hours but a non-zero amount. Print to PDF in the client’s own language, or export CSV shaped for Xero and QuickBooks. No currency conversion, and no outbound network access.

Version information
Version 4.4.0•for Jira Cloud
- Release date
- Aug 18th 2026
- Summary
- Subscription handled by Atlassian, and the app icon now matches the logo
- Details
The app is now sold through Atlassian, so the subscription sits on the same bill as Jira. Invoices already issued stay readable, printable and exportable whether or not the subscription is active. An invoice is a primary document, and you have to be able to pull last year’s one out regardless of how the subscription ended.
The pre-flight audit prompt is English throughout. It was written in Russian while the app was being built, and some findings came back in Russian because of it.
The app icon in Jira now matches the Marketplace logo. It used to be a simplified version of the same mark, with the inner ring of the coin dropped.
