This version introduces the new Forge-based migration path for migrating Viewtracker data from Data Center to Confluence Cloud. This replaces the previous Connect-based migration module, which has been removed in Viewtracker Cloud 9.0.0.
What's new:
- The DC-to-Cloud migration now runs over Atlassian's Forge framework, aligning with the architectural transition of Viewtracker Cloud from Connect to Forge Remote.
Important migration guidance:
- If you have time to run a test migration before going to production: Update both the DC app to this version and the Cloud app to 9.0.0, then run a test migration to validate the new Forge-based migration path before your production migration.
- If your production migration is imminent and you already tested with a previous DC version: Do not update the DC app or the Cloud app. Complete the production migration on the tested versions first. Once the production migration has succeeded, update the Cloud app to the latest version.
