Quick start
Step 1: Install on your Jira site.
Step 2: Open Jira administration, Apps, Notification Composer, then New rule.
Step 3: Choose when it fires (created, commented, status or field changed), the projects, and an optional JQL condition.
Step 4: Recipients: reporter, assignee, watchers, request participants, account ids or groups. The actor is excluded.
Step 5: Write the subject and body with placeholders such as {{issue.summary}}, {{field.customfield_10042}} and {{comment.body}}. Preview against a real issue, then send a test to yourself.
Step 6: Enable and save. The Send log records recipients and Jira's response, as CSV.
Limits: Jira delivers the mail through its own notify endpoint, so only people who can browse the issue receive it; the From address stays Jira's.
Runs entirely on Atlassian: Forge functions, triggers and storage in your site.
