GrafanaSight helps SRE, platform, and operations teams keep Confluence runbooks, incident pages, and postmortems aligned with Grafana Cloud or self-hosted HTTPS Grafana instances.

Authors can paste Grafana or GrafanaSight links into Confluence and turn them into panel snapshots, dashboard overviews, alert summaries, service-health bylines, and annotation timelines. Space admins connect each Confluence space to the right Grafana instance using a Grafana service account token stored with Forge secret storage. Atlassian admins approve the Grafana destination used by the app before backend requests are made.

GrafanaSight also includes a cache-first Rovo Specialist that answers from cached dashboard, alert, annotation, and freshness data so teams can find the right observability context without leaving Confluence.

Summary: Now supporting Customer Managed Grafana Instances
Details: Added support for customer-managed backend egress so GrafanaSight can connect to customer-approved Grafana Cloud or self-hosted HTTPS Grafana endpoints instead of only static Grafana Cloud domains.
Kept the existing Forge-hosted backend architecture: Grafana calls still run through Forge functions/resolvers using backend `api.fetch`; the app does not introduce Forge Remote.
Added customer-managed egress approval handling in Space Settings. The first save of a new Grafana origin can trigger Atlassian's admin approval prompt, and the approved destination is reused for backend calls.
Tightened Grafana URL validation for customer-provided endpoints: HTTPS origins only, no credentials, no path/query/fragment, no localhost/private IP literals, and support for non-default HTTPS ports.
Updated configuration behavior so saved token state and approved egress state are handled consistently for self-hosted Grafana setups.
