Key highlights of the appRequest, approve and reject pages with per-space approvers and a quorum, with stale detection and an audit CSV
An approval state on every page
Request approval from the byline. Approvers approve or reject the exact version. Edit an approved page and it reads changed since approval until it is approved again.
Approvers, quorum and labels, per space
Name approvers by person or group, the number of approvals a page needs, the labels that require approval, and when a request counts as overdue.
The audit trail an auditor asks for
Every request, decision, withdrawal and stale event with the page version, the person and the comment. One CSV. Approval state is searchable with CQL.

Why: document control for ISO, SOC 2 and policy reviews, on every plan. Native Approvals is Premium and Enterprise only.
Quick start
Step 1: Install on your Confluence site.
Step 2: In a space, open Space settings, Page approvals. Add approvers by account id or group, set the quorum, the labels that require approval, and the overdue threshold.
Step 3: On a page, click Approval in the byline. Anyone who can edit it can request approval.
Step 4: Approvers approve or reject the exact version. At quorum the page reads Approved.
Step 5: Edit an approved page and the badge reads changed since approval until it is approved again.
Step 6: Apps, Page Approvals lists pending, overdue, stale and approved pages and exports the audit trail as CSV.
Limits: no email reminders, because the app has no egress; the dashboard is the reminder. Approvals do not block publishing; Confluence has no publish gate an app can enforce.
Runs entirely on Atlassian: Forge functions, triggers and storage in your site.
