Migration Connector is required for using Hosted CMA, Atlassian’s next-gen solution for migrating Jira Data Center (DC) to Atlassian Cloud. By shifting migration logic to the cloud, it replicates your DC instance to an Atlassian-hosted environment, eliminating manual setup and repeated DB dumps while simplifying migrations.

Jira 11 is now supported as a migration source, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, and Oracle databases.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where attachment replication progress was incorrectly reported on initial startup.
Fixed app filenames with long paths being silently truncated during migration.
Fixed incorrect progress reporting when all attachments failed or no attachments were present.
Fixed an issue where stopping a migration did not fully terminate all replication processes.
