Key highlights of the appSeamlessly connect your Jira Data Center to Atlassian Cloud for fast and reliable migrations
More details
Migration Connector is required for using Hosted CMA, Atlassian’s next-gen solution for migrating Jira Data Center (DC) to Atlassian Cloud. By shifting migration logic to the cloud, it replicates your DC instance to an Atlassian-hosted environment, eliminating manual setup and repeated DB dumps while simplifying migrations.
Key Benefits:
- No manual infrastructure: Atlassian provisions the migration environment in cloud, no staging setup needed.
- Lightweight on DC: Streams data to cloud with minimal impact on production.
- Multiple test runs: Perform as many test migrations as needed without affecting live DC.
- Automated & scalable: Environments can be provisioned, reset, or reloaded on demand.
- App support: Supports migration for the same apps as JCMA.
- Improved reliability: Debug and fix errors in the cloud, reducing risk and turnaround time.
- Incremental migrations: Minimize downtime by replicating changes continuously, with only deltas migrated during the final cutover.
