Gliffy Diagrams for Confluence

EDIT: 2026-02 from 2 stars to 1 = still no update, no support. Apparently no body is working on this fix.. Leaving us in the dark for three months. We’ve been using this application for years, but unfortunately, we’ve experienced two major downtime incidents due to its incompatibility with the current release of Confluence Data Center. Over 450 users were unable to access the application for weeks, as many rely on it to create business flows, diagrams, and network mappings. Despite our requests for a solution or a fix, support failed us, leaving us unable to continue working. The only solution they offered was to downgrade, which is not feasible with a Data Center license + serious CVE's were in older versions . In response, we switched to Draw.io, an app with enhanced capabilities and a built-in conversion tool for all current Gliffy diagrams. Since the last major downtime (which is still ongoing while writing this review), a colleague recommended another compatible app; draw.io . As Gliffy’s response was that they do not release a fix or update until a Long-Term Support (LTS) version is created by Confluence, leaving users in the dark. Our response: we have decided to move on from Gliffy. Goodbye, thanks for the many years.

It is unbelievable how mush this application has got worse in the last year. there are a tone of bugs related to arrows management, text editing, moving objects, flows diplay in confluence... it takes me double time to do anything constantly fighting the applications and closing it and reopening to manage some of the bugs. it was a clean, easy to use and straight forward application 2 years ago. Today it is a mess and unfortunately confluence misses alternatives which forces us to keep using it...

Gliffy makes it quick and easy to create diagrams directly in Confluence—perfect for architecture, workflows, and wireframes. A few quirks aside, its convenience and seamless integration keep me using it every day.

too complicated to use .. I spent more then 15 minutes just to discover how can start a diagram, and I couldn't..
