Throughput Charts for Scrum, Kanban, SAFe (Gadgets Reports)

We've tried a number of Jira reporting apps, and this one quickly became part of our regular workflow. The charts are easy to understand, even for people who aren't deeply familiar with Agile metrics. Being able to see throughput trends over time helps us identify changes in delivery performance and have more productive conversations as a team. Simple, practical, and genuinely useful.

Target bands make our quarterly capacity assumptions visible on the dashboard. When throughput drops below the expected range, we can investigate the contributing work instead of waiting for a release date to slip.

Combining multiple boards gives us a program-level delivery pattern without manually merging exports. The ability to drill back to Jira keeps the aggregated number auditable.

We break throughput down by release and issue type to see where capacity is being spent. This exposed a period where urgent bug fixes were consuming most of the team's output even though the total remained stable.

The histogram helped us move away from quoting a single average as if it were guaranteed. We can see the distribution, outliers, and realistic percentile ranges before making a sprint commitment.
