Log attachments with level chips
The log in this shot is 38 MB and it opened in about three seconds. Chips filter to one level in a click, and the footer keeps the full count: 14,326 ERROR and 28,652 WARN in this file.
A 120,000-row workbook opens in seconds
A 120,000-row Excel workbook attached to the issue opens in seconds: headers detected, date and number formats applied, every sheet listed in the schema view.
Ask Rovo about an attachment
The Lens Attachment Reader joins Rovo Chat. It reads a file on the open work item and answers from it: the columns of a CSV, the error lines of a log, a summary of a workbook, the rows that mention a word.
More details
Someone attaches a 38 MB log to a work item; the next person downloads it to read one line. Data Lens opens it on the work item as a table, with no download and no copy on a laptop, still under the item's permissions.
CSV, Excel, JSON, JSONL, Parquet, logs and text; gzipped logs, JSONL, JSON and CSV too. Edit a CSV, TSV or Excel cell on the work item. Once you confirm, the edited file is added as a new attachment, the original stays as is, and a comment on the work item names the change.
With Rovo on the site, our agent answers questions about a file in Rovo Chat, with your Jira permissions.
Runs on Atlassian with no vendor servers; your browser keeps only the theme, each file's view state, the evaluation notice's two counts and your answer to its one review prompt.
Free up to ten users. Past ten, every user is billed: USD 3.35 per user per month up to 100 users, less on larger sites, a year for the price of ten months, after a 30-day evaluation.

Version information
Version 3.2.0•for Jira Cloud
- Release date
- Oct 27th 2026
- Summary
- An edited Excel workbook becomes a new dated attachment beside the original
- Details
The edited workbook lands as a new attachment beside the original, named with the date (budget (edited 2026-10-27).xlsx), and a comment on the work item says how many cells changed; the original is never written. Excel sheets take the same edits CSV files have taken since 3.0.0: double-click a cell in the panel, type, press Enter; the pending bar counts what is staged, and Apply shows each change next to the file's value. Only the edited cells differ between the two files; a protected sheet, a merged cell or a formula cell cannot be edited and the panel says why. If the workbook has formulas, Excel recomputes them on its next open, and a row can be appended below the last one.
