Doc To Epic

Prerequisites

The project selected should have the following Issue types available

• Epic
• User Story
• Task (if you plan to include them in the generation process)

How to Generate an Epic

1. Upload a Document:
   • Once in the app, you will see an area to upload files.
   • Drag and drop your document (e.g., .docx, .txt, .md) or click to browse and select a file.
2. Review the Generated Issues:
   • The app will process the document and display a generated Epic, along with a list of user stories and tasks.
   • The content will be pre-filled in an editor, showing the title, description, and acceptance criteria for each issue.
3. Refine the Content:
   • You can edit any of the generated text directly in the editor.
   • Modify titles, descriptions, add or remove user stories and tasks to match your requirements.
   • You can also run another prompt if you'd like to use our AI capabilities
4. Create Jira Issues:
   • When you are satisfied with the hierarchy and content, click the Submit To Jira button.
