I tend to have instances hanging when installing and uninstalling plugins, and UPM is the one most prone to not properly unload and reload once updated. Since this in effect locks me out from updating licenses and plugins until Jira/Confluence is restarted (which can be days) it would make sense to add a little more information in your releases notes. This update for instance has this changelog: "Summary Bug fixes" What bugs are fixed? Will an upgrade once more mess with UPM and leave me with expiring plugins until next restart? You guys should really lead by example. For the love of God, Please spend more than 8 second when writing you release notes, so we then admins knows if it makes sense doing the update.. UPM Diary: 20170824 - 2 days after the upgrade finally 2.22.5 is released, this time with "Bug fixes". Dying to make another update that might hang my production server.

Providing 2 stars because managing, updating and licensing all other plugins with this tool is a dream, almost too easy. Can't go any higher due to difficulties updating the Plugin Manager itself, we lose Confluence entirely during update and need to reboot to back out and recover. Interestingly logs show the plugin being disabled after update, looking in to this more and submitting a ticket.

I updated the Universal Manager plugin and my entire company (500+ people) cannot use Jira now! This sucks!

After every update, this app forces us to reboot the whole Confluence. The macros crashed. The logs tell us, that the app could not reload all macros properly. One can like or dislike the marketplace for its ability to give confluence more features or being a huge cash cow for functions that Atlassian should have implemented as basic functions. But to publish a plugin manager that does not work properly is the last thing I would expect from such a revenue model! Look at the reviews, there are many people having this issues.

The release notes for many versions of UPM contain no information. That makes it harder to decide when to upgrade or not.
