Filter Hygiene helps Jira admins turn saved-filter sprawl into an actionable cleanup workflow.

Run a scan to identify risky sharing, inactive or missing owners, stale filters, invalid JQL, duplicate normalized queries, and broadly shared filters with missing descriptions. Filter Hygiene groups the highest-risk filters into a cleanup queue so admins can triage what matters instead of reviewing every saved filter manually.

Before making changes, admins can run dry-run previews for bulk cleanup actions such as making filters private, removing global shares, or reassigning owners. Recent Activity records who initiated each action, what changed, before/after sharing or owner summaries, failed actions, and failure reasons. CSV and Markdown exports make cleanup results easier to share with managers, security teams, or auditors.
