Key highlights of the appLive editor with templates and syntax help for flowcharts, sequence diagrams, ERDs and pie charts. No data leaves Atlassian

Write text, get a diagram on the page
Type Mermaid syntax in a live editor inside Confluence, with coloured source beside a preview. Start from eight examples, and mistakes are caught before you save. Readers see the diagram sized to fit the page.
Gantt charts from a few lines of text
Plan a release as text. A task can start after another one, and milestones show as diamonds. Change one duration and every task that depends on it moves.
Readers can zoom, copy and download
Every diagram has a toolbar: zoom, fit and full screen. Copy the source text or the image, or download SVG or PNG. The app asks for no permission scopes, and no data leaves Atlassian.

More details
Comparing Mermaid apps? Test these:
- Word and PDF exports show each diagram as a picture, no toolbar. Only very tall, very large or very slow diagrams fall back to their source.
- Draft with AI: describe a diagram, copy a ready prompt into your AI chat, paste the answer back. Fix with AI mends errors. The app contacts no AI.
- Pastes from GitHub, AI chats or other Mermaid apps lose their wrapping.
- Auto colours follow Confluence's light or dark mode; dark diagrams on light pages get a panel.
- A real editor: highlighting, live preview, find and replace, eight examples, syntax help. Broken diagrams can't be saved.
The app requests no permission scopes and sends nothing outside Atlassian. Diagrams live in the page. Page exports, page history and notification emails use the app's own function on Atlassian's platform, which keeps nothing.

Version information
Version 2.7.0•for Confluence Cloud
- Release date
- Oct 3rd 2026
- Summary
- Clearer licence messages, a note for evaluating sites, link to the app's guide
- Details
- When a site's licence is not active, diagrams and exports now say what the app costs: free for up to 10 users, then $0.35 per user per month for every user (less per user above 100 users). Diagrams stay on their pages, and a site admin can subscribe to show them again.
- When Confluence tells the editor that the site is evaluating the paid tier, the editor shows a short note saying so, with the price and what pages show if the site does not subscribe. Dismiss hides it in that browser.
- Full documentation in the editor now opens the app's guide at eriksenlabs.com/docs.
- No new permissions. Nothing leaves Atlassian.
- Payment model
- Paid via Atlassian
- License type
- Commercial
