Data: diagram text lives in your Confluence page and its history. No analytics, no cookies, no external calls. Runs on Atlassian.
Compatibility: Mermaid 12 with 20+ diagram types. Page exports to PDF and Word include diagrams as images, with their titles.
Styling: built-in themes or a Custom theme with your own colours and font, which looks the same in light and dark mode. Titles go at the top or bottom, or can be hidden.
Migration: convert existing Mermaid code blocks to live diagrams in one step.
Limits: up to 100 KB of diagram text per diagram, and 1 MB for an attached .mmd source file. The editor shows the size as you type and won’t save above the limit.
