So sad that Appfire doesn't provide a Cloud version and we're scared to migrate, because ... The Run Self-Service Reports for Confluence unlocked a complete generic way on how to write adaptive pages that can be controlled by URL get parameters. This way we were able to have a single procedure page for any (e.g. Kubernetes Cluster). It's even better that you can *include pages* where part of the page name is controlled by a run_x parameter and moreover these include pages can import a metadata list of parameters which can be stamped into the rendered page ...awseome. Our Confluence became the optimal CMDB from which we render even platform configuration.

This tool, along with the SQL add-on also by Bob Swift, have opened up a whole new world of possibilities in our Confluence. We now have reports pulling live into our Confluence from our PSA and RMM, making the wiki the most powerful tool we have, and one source of truth for all our data.

I agree with Ethan below. I have made extensive use of Scaffolding and Reporting. Today I was able to use the Run macro to solve a problem I was banging my head on for a week. Very helpful macro.

Where can I get really good documentation on how to use the RUN plugin and examples on how to build reports?

If you use Scaffolding and Reporting or the SQL macros then this will unlock a whole new level of capabilities!
