Key highlights of the appRender Typst documents and LaTeX-style mathematics on Confluence — live from source, entirely in the browser, storing nothing

Publication-quality maths, live on the page

Paste Typst source and mathematical notation renders with the correct fonts and layout — crisp, scalable, selectable — on your Confluence page. Maths is Typst's headline strength and the reason most teams reach for it.

Full Typst documents, not just equations

Headings, prose, tables, code blocks, and multi-page documents render as they do in Typst — stacked as pages, as vector graphics, with selectable text. Confluence becomes the place your Typst work is finally readable.

Private by design: rendered in your browser

The compiler ships inside the macro and runs in your browser, so your document is never sent to a server — not ours, not anyone's. The app requests no permissions and stores nothing outside your page.

More details

Paste Typst source into a macro; it renders as crisp, scalable output on your Confluence page — prose, tables, multi-page documents, and the mathematics Typst is known for.

Everything happens in the viewer's browser: the compiler runs as WebAssembly, not on a server, so your document is never sent to us or any third party. The app requests no Confluence scopes, declares no egress, and stores nothing outside your page. Its only CSP directive (unsafe-eval) instantiates WebAssembly, nothing more.

Limits, up front: exports (PDF/Word) carry the Typst source in a captioned code block, not the render — the live page always shows the full output. v1 renders self-contained documents (no @preview, no image()/#include), publishes, not edits, and caps at 64 KiB / 10 s.

Insert with /typst, or search "latex", "math", or "typesetting" in the macro browser.

An independent integration, not affiliated with or endorsed by Typst (typst.app); bundles typst.ts and Typst fonts under open licences.
