Key highlights of the appAutomated Jira worklog reports, published to Confluence with an AI-written executive summary. No data leaves Atlassian
More details
Setup: Install TimeScribe into Jira, where a Jira administrator approves its permissions. To publish reports to Confluence, an administrator connects the app to Confluence — a one-time step in Atlassian Administration (Apps then TimeScribe then connect Confluence). Worklog reporting and CSV export work in Jira without Confluence; connecting Confluence adds publishing. Reports publish as the acting user, to team spaces you have permission to edit — never anywhere you couldn’t publish yourself. TimeScribe runs entirely on Atlassian’s Forge platform and makes no external network calls; your data never leaves your Atlassian tenant.

Version 2.7.0•for Jira Cloud
- Release date
- Jul 14th 2026
- Summary
- Cross-context app: install in Jira, optionally connect Confluence to publish
- Details
This release converts TimeScribe to a Cross-Context App: Jira is required and Confluence is optional. Install into Jira, then a Jira or organization admin connects Confluence in Atlassian Administration to enable publishing. Worklog reporting and CSV export work with Jira alone. Publishing to Confluence now runs as the acting user, so the app only reads and writes content the user is already permitted to access. Personal spaces are unsupported; a clear message directs users to a team space they can edit. No new scopes were added.
