Checklist Workflow Automation for Jira

Add a checklist to any issue and mark what must be finished before work can close. A validator blocks the transition while any required item is open, and an optional post function marks them done when it runs — no scripting.

The panel lives on the issue: type tasks, edit in place, nest sub-tasks, set due dates and statuses — built-in plus custom project statuses. Completed items stay in place; a progress bar sums the whole tree.

Project templates carry the full nesting anywhere — Definition of Done, QA passes, release runbooks — and CSV import/export round-trips everything. Applied the wrong one? One command clears the checklist.

Find unfinished required work in JQL with hasIncompleteRequired() and searchable counters. A daily sweep comments on past-due items, mentioning the assignee at most once a week. Changes land in an audit log, cloning copies the checklist, and data stays in your Jira site.
