The week grid shows who is working today, who is off and who has a public holiday in their own country. Balances are calculated, never typed: pro-rata for new starters, carry-over with a cap and an expiry date, half days, and yearly caps per leave type. Public holidays for 17 countries are generated by rule, so nothing needs updating every December. Leave reasons stay private to the manager and the person who asked.
