More details

Plugin provides in-browser validation and visualization of digital signatures for ASiC-E container attachments in Jira issues. Supported file types: .edoc, .asice, .sce, .scs, .bdoc, .adoc, .ddoc, .asics.

Supports multiple languages: English, Latvian, Lithuanian, and Estonian, making it accessible to a wide range of users in the Baltics and beyond.

Seamless integration with Jira’s native attachment system—no additional configuration required. Designed for simplicity and performance: lightweight, with no background jobs or persistent storage, ensuring minimal impact on Jira performance.

No sensitive data is stored; all processing is performed in-memory per request for maximum security.

If you encounter a valid ASiC-E container from which the plugin cannot extract a signature, please create a support ticket and attach example files so we can update and improve the plugin’s backend logic.

Version information

Version 1.0.6for Jira Data Center 9.4.0 - 10.7.4

Release date
Sep 9th 2025
Summary
Compatibility update
Details

Robust Attachment Retrieval:

Attachment validation now uses only the official Jira REST API (/rest/api/2/attachment/{id}) for both Jira 9 (Data Center) and Jira 10+, ensuring maximum compatibility, security, and future-proofing. Direct download URLs and internal Jira APIs are no longer used.

Improved Resource Management:

All attachment streams are properly closed to prevent resource leaks. A new utility method allows safe retrieval of attachment bytes for custom integrations.

Cleaner, Safer Codebase:

Refactored to remove legacy ThreadLocal request context and unused compatibility methods. All APIs now require the current HttpServletRequest for safe, explicit context handling.

Better Error Handling and Logging:

Enhanced error messages and debug logging for authentication, permission, and REST API failures.
