A bug is escalated and the screenshot stays behind in the Intercom conversation. This app uploads the files from that conversation to the Jira issue as real attachments, so developers open them without an Intercom seat.
Integrates with Intercom, and shows you it worked
A signature-verified Intercom webhook syncs a linked conversation whenever someone replies. You can also sync on demand from the issue panel. The settings screen tells you whether Intercom notifications are arriving.
Every Intercom file counted: synced or skipped
Every file the customer sent in the Intercom conversation, with its size, and a result line after each sync: how many synced, how many failed, and how many were skipped as already on the issue or over your Jira limit.
More details
Requires an Intercom workspace: a Jira admin creates an app in Developer Hub, pastes its access token (read_conversations, Read one admin) and client secret into the settings, and registers the webhook URL. ~15 minutes, once.
File size. Intercom allows 100 MB per file; your Jira site’s limit is often smaller. The stricter one wins, and oversized files are reported as skipped, not silently dropped.
Duplicates. A file counts as synced when its name and byte size both match. Two files sharing a name are both uploaded, the second renamed. Re-running never duplicates.
Long conversations. Intercom sometimes returns only part of one; the app says so when it does.
Permissions. read:jira-work, write:jira-work, storage:app. No Jira admin scope. Every handler checks the caller’s permission first. Attachment contents are not kept.
