What it does: Lets you trigger AI-powered code generation directly from any Jira issue. Click a button in Jira, and Claude Code writes the code, creates a branch, opens a PR, and reports back — all automatically.
How it works:
- User clicks "Generate Code" on a Jira issue panel
- The Forge app reads the issue details and triggers a GitHub Actions workflow
- Claude Code (running in GitHub Actions) analyzes the repo, implements the changes, and opens a PR
- GitHub notifies the Forge app via webhook
- Jira issue gets updated with the PR link and a comment
