SnapJQL - Advanced JQL Functions & Properties

We evaluated SnapJQL as a Forge-native replacement for ScriptRunner's enhanced search functions, on a large Jira Cloud instance - several million issues across a couple of thousand projects. A few things stood out. The function coverage matched what we actually relied on. The JQL functions we depended on for cross-project hierarchy and link traversal had clean equivalents, and migrating our real queries was more straightforward than expected. Being Forge-native mattered for us - data residency and platform direction made Connect apps a non-starter, and SnapJQL fits that constraint without compromise. The standout, though, has been the vendor. We pushed the app hard at the edges of our scale and surfaced areas that needed work, and in every case Snapbytes engaged seriously, quickly, and technically - not deflecting, but digging into the actual behaviour and shipping improvements. Several pieces of our feedback turned into real product changes during the evaluation. That responsiveness is rare, and at enterprise scale it's worth as much as any feature list. I'd encourage other large instances to test at their own scale rather than assume - but on the strength of both the product and the people behind it, SnapJQL has been a genuinely strong choice for us. We recently migrated from Jira Data Center to Cloud and selected SnapJQL to help migrate thousands of our ScriptRunner JQL usages. The transition was much smoother than expected, and SnapJQL covered the majority of our advanced JQL requirements on Cloud. What impressed us most was the responsiveness of the team.
