Key highlights of the appTypeScript automation for Jira — every run logged and replayable, every save versioned, every mistake one click from undone

hero

Every run logged, timed and replayable

Every hook run — triggered, scheduled or manual — records structured
logs, timing, the returned value, and errors mapped to the line in your code. Nothing fails silently, and any run can be replayed.

TypeScript hooks on ten Jira event kind

Write hooks in TypeScript with a typed Jira API — no proprietary
language. Fire on create, update, delete, assign, comment, worklog, link, attachment or version events, scoped to the projects, types and fields you pick.

Versioned, scheduled, and Runs on Atlassian

Every save keeps a version — roll back in one click. Schedule hooks in
plain words with a visual builder. Pure Forge with zero external egress: scripts, versions and run history never leave your Atlassian site.

More details

How it works, up front: a Jira admin writes short TypeScript hooks in a 4-step console
(when it runs, what it does, try it, save it), starting from 11 ready-made examples.
Hooks fire on ten work-item event kinds, on a plain-words schedule, as custom JQL
functions (plus 11 built-ins like linkedIssuesOf and hasSubtasks), as a read-only
scripted field, or as queued bulk jobs over a JQL result. Every run records logs,
timing, the returned value and line-numbered errors; every save keeps a version with
one-click rollback; dry-run rehearses without writing.

Data: scripts, versions and run history are stored only in Forge storage on your own
Atlassian site. No external calls, no analytics, no AI. Admin-only by design. Runs on
Atlassian.
