Key highlights of the appExport a page tree or a whole space to Markdown — attachments, links and readable filenames, plus a report of what degraded
The whole space in one pass, and a loss report
One run takes a page tree or the whole space, attachments included, and names everything it had to degrade.
Non-English titles stay readable
A Korean or Japanese title becomes a filename you can still read, not a UUID.
Diagrams keep their source
Mermaid and PlantUML come out as fenced code in the language they were written in.

More details
Quick start. From a page: the … (More actions) menu, then Apps, then Export to Markdown. Pick a scope - this page and everything under it, or the whole space - and press Export. A .zip downloads. From a space: the left sidebar, under Space apps. Free for up to 10 users.
One page, or the whole space. Confluence’s Export menu hands you one page’s Markdown. This takes a page tree or an entire space in one pass: attachments written out, inter-page links rewritten to stay inside the export, non-ASCII titles kept as readable filenames rather than a UUID, and a folder tree mirroring the page tree.
What survives that usually does not: task state, so a completed item exports as [x]; code block languages; nesting to any depth, including code inside list items.
Degrade, never delete. Each unsupported element becomes the closest form that keeps every word, and every export ends with a report of what it degraded and where. Read access only - the app never modifies your content.

Version information
Version 2.2.0•for Confluence Cloud
- Release date
- Oct 9th 2026
- Summary
- Fixes the space-level export path, which failed when opened from Space apps
- Details
Fixed: opening the app from Space apps and pressing Export failed with "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'id')". Opened from a space there is no current page, and the default scope still asked for one.
Hardened: every Forge context field is now read in one place, an absent field reads as absent instead of throwing, and a site URL that will not parse no longer takes the frame down. Opened somewhere with no space, the app names the two menus it expects.
Dependencies: all open security advisories cleared.
