Subtask Templates & Verified Issue Trees for Jira

Turn repeated release, onboarding, bug-investigation, and incident follow-up work into reusable Jira templates.

Project admins save templates in company-managed Jira Cloud projects. Users apply one from an issue or launch a complete tree from the project page. Templates support a standard parent with subtasks or an Epic with child issues and subtasks, up to 12 issues per run.

Before creation, TreeGuard previews the plan and checks live issue types, hierarchy, required fields, labels, priorities, components, permissions, and values. It creates as the current user, reads every issue back, and verifies configured fields and exact parent links.

Jira creation is not transactional. If a later step fails, TreeGuard attempts reverse-order cleanup and reports anything needing manual action. Runs on Atlassian with no external egress.
