Custom fields
For adding the custom field Remote Links on the issue view screen, please go to the Jira → Work Items → Fields and type “Remote links“ in the search field. Then the action(•••)→ Add field to screen.
Issue action
We will auto index all issues that users viewed on the next day. Use the custom field Remote Links is not necessary. You can use the issue action Reindex Remote Links. For checking status, view details or “Reindex now“.
Search
In the JQL You can search via custom fields or use jql functions. The admin page Remote Links factorial5 in the Jira → Marketpalce apps → Remote Links factorial5. On the page You can run indexing for existing issues.
More details
We automatically create customfields and issue properties for saving Remote Links indexing. We are indexing: Id, Title, Url, Application type, Application name, Relationship, GlobalId and Attributes. We will auto index/reindex all issues that users viewed on the next day.
Or a user can “Reindex now“ via the customfield or the issue action.
