Spec2Tickets reads a Confluence specification and generates a complete Jira breakdown — epics, stories with acceptance criteria, subtasks, and dependency links — using Anthropic's Claude.
How it works (across Confluence and Jira)
You work entirely in Confluence; Jira is just where the issues are created (there is no app screen on Jira).
- Open the app in Confluence: top left navigation → Apps → Spec2Tickets. (Or, on a Confluence page, click the "•••" (more actions) button at the top right → "Generate Breakdown with Spec2Tickets".)
- In Settings, add your default Jira project key.
- Pick a spec page → "Generate AI Breakdown".
- Review and edit the Epic, Stories, acceptance criteria, Subtasks, and dependencies.
- "Push to Jira" — the issues are created in your Jira project.
Human in the Loop
Nothing is pushed automatically — you review and approve everything first. Runs entirely on Atlassian Forge with your own Anthropic key.
