Key highlights of the appPick the one thing that matters, run a clock on it, and log the time to Jira with one honest line

More details

Runs on Atlassian: no network call to anything but Atlassian, no telemetry, everything stays inside your own Jira site.

Two tabs. Focus is your own work: the issues assigned to you, ranked by a deterministic score whose arithmetic you can open and read, with a clock you start on one of them. Team shows the time the people you pick logged in Jira, day by day.

Team reads Jira worklogs in your browser, as you, so it shows only what your own Jira permissions already allow. There is no manager role and no privileged view, nothing about anyone’s time is stored, and a worklog’s comment is never shown.

Worklogs are written as you, only when you press Log it, and never twice. An issue comment is optional and off by default.

Personal Data Reporting is implemented. Delete your own OnTask data at any time; administrators can erase everyone’s.

Free for sites with up to 10 users; USD 2 per user per month above that, billed by Atlassian.

Summary
Added the Team tab — an overview of the time the people you pick logged in Jira
Details

OnTask now has two tabs. Focus is the one you already have. Team is new: the time the people you pick logged in Jira, day by day; open a row to see the issues.

If you installed OnTask as a personal clock, read this: anyone on your site who can open OnTask can now see the time colleagues logged. It is on for every site and cannot be switched off.

What it shows is bounded by Jira: every read runs in the viewer’s browser as the viewer. No manager role, no privileged view, no new permissions. A worklog’s comment is never shown, and nothing about anyone’s time is stored.

Looking at colleagues' logged time is monitoring at work: your organisation needs a lawful basis for it.

Saved views are the only new stored data, visible only to their owner. Settings are now per person and save themselves.

Also fixed: the worklog-comment switch now holds; an abandoned stop screen cannot log the same hour twice.
