The management of certified email (PEC or Posta Elettronica Certificata) represents a common challenge for Jira users, since the native email handler is not designed to correctly process messages compliant to RFC-6109.
To overcome this limitation, Sourcesense has developed PEC Mail Handler for Jira, a plugin that extends Jira’s native mail handler by introducing specific logic to allow automated and structured management of certified emails.
When a certified email (PEC) message is received, PEC Mail Handler for Jira extracts the inner message and makes it available to Jira for work item processing.
