Team Alerts runs entirely on Atlassian Forge inside your Jira Cloud site. No external servers and no data sent to third parties—notifications are delivered through Jira’s own APIs.
What you can do
- Choose any project, select one or more users (or the whole team), and send custom messages by email, in-app, or both.
- Optionally link alerts to a specific issue and add attachments (e.g. instructions or context).
- In-app notifications use @mentions on an issue so recipients get the bell notification and can follow their Jira notification preferences.
