Key highlights of the appJira checklists with a Definition of Done that blocks Done: several lists per work item, data stays on your site, export
A Definition of Done you cannot skip
Mark items Required and add the validator to a transition. Jira blocks the move while one is open and names it. Release readiness and roles build on the same Required items.
Know if a release is ready to ship
DoD Health lists the work items that cannot be Done yet. For a release it gives a go or no go verdict and a PDF. If some work items are hidden from you, it says Not known, not Go.
Decide who can loosen a control
Roles say who edits, who checks and who may un-require an item. Relax a control is held by project admins by default. Every permission change goes into a log you can read and verify.

Checklist Flow puts a Definition of Done on Jira work items and lets your workflow enforce it.
- Required items block the transition and are named in the message
- Named checklists, custom item statuses, Edit as text
- 49 templates in 18 categories (Definition of Ready, code review), auto-apply, global checklists
- Items that wait for linked work, a field value or an Approval Flow sign-off
- Release readiness: go or no go per fix version, as a PDF
- Roles and Relax a control: who may weaken a Required item, logged
- 15 Automation actions, post function, gadgets, JQL, progress field
- Rovo and MCP tools: agents read and report on the Definition of Done (Preview)
- Hash-chained history, JSON and CSV export, Markdown and CSV import

Runs on Atlassian: data stays in Forge storage on your site, no calls outside Atlassian. Besides one issue property for JQL, it writes to Jira only for Turn into work item.

Version information
Version 3.2.0•for Jira Cloud
- Release date
- Nov 1st 2026
- Summary
- Permissions log fix when two people save at the same moment
- Details
This is a small fix for the Permissions tab.
If a save of the permissions was stopped part way, the app completes it and writes the missing entries to the permissions log. Before, it recognised entries already written by their time alone, so another entry from the same millisecond could make it write every entry a second time. Now it matches by time and by person, so no entry is written twice.
No change to permissions or scopes, so there is no new admin approval to give when you update. No other change in this version.
