Key highlights of the appFind stale pages and outdated content in Confluence: every page gets a freshness badge, and owners confirm in one click

See what's rotting
Every page carries a Fresh, Aging or Stale badge based on when it was last edited and last vouched for. Each space gets a dashboard: counts, the worst offenders first, filters, and bulk actions.
Confirm in one click
Mark as fresh records who checked and when. It never edits the page, never creates a version, never pings a watcher; the confirmation lives beside the page, not in it. A page’s history stays exactly as it was.
Nothing leaves Atlassian
Built on Forge with no external calls. No archiving, no auto-delete, no email, no approval workflow; the app cannot bury a page you still need. Runs on Atlassian eligible, a badge Atlassian applies automatically.

More details
The problem
Confluence shows when a page was last updated. Its Verified status lets an owner vouch for pages one at a time, an Automation rule can un-verify inactive ones, and the content manager filters a space by last activity. Nothing gives every page a freshness status on its own, where readers see it.
What Evergreen does
A badge on every page. Fresh, Aging or Stale in the byline, from the last edit and the last confirmation.
One-click confirmation. Mark as fresh records who checked and when, without editing the page, creating a version, or notifying watchers.
A dashboard per space. Counts, the pages needing attention worst-first, filters, bulk actions for up to 200 pages, and a review list.
Thresholds that layer. Site defaults (90/180 days), overridable per space and per page. Exclude by label, by space, or page by page.
Good to know
Evergreen never archives, moves or deletes anything, and sends no email. It tells you what is stale and lets people say otherwise.

Version information
Version 2.2.0•for Confluence Cloud
- Release date
- Sep 28th 2026
- Summary
- Blog posts, restricted pages, and a dashboard that keeps up with confirmations
- Details
- Blog posts: with "Also track blog posts" on, a blog post's byline said "This page no longer exists" and bulk actions failed on it. Blog posts now work everywhere pages do; with the switch off, their byline says they aren't tracked.
- Restricted pages: a page whose restrictions leave the app out said the same. It now says Evergreen can't read it.
- The space dashboard now updates within seconds of Mark as fresh, Exclude or page thresholds on a page, instead of at the next daily scan. A confirmation made while the dashboard was recalculating could drop out of it for good; it no longer can.
- Excluding a page, or giving it its own thresholds, now needs permission to edit the page, and the byline says who excluded it and when. Anyone who can read a page can still mark it fresh.
- Bulk actions only touch pages in the space they were started from.
- Ages count to today rather than to the last scan, and the Needs attention and Review list tabs show what you just did.
