See what's rotting

Every page carries a Fresh, Aging or Stale badge based on when it was last edited and last vouched for. Each space gets a dashboard: counts, the worst offenders first, filters, and bulk actions.

Confirm in one click

Mark as fresh records who checked and when. It never edits the page, never creates a version, never pings a watcher; the confirmation lives beside the page, not in it. A page’s history stays exactly as it was.

Nothing leaves Atlassian

Built on Forge with no external calls. No archiving, no auto-delete, no email, no approval workflow; the app cannot bury a page you still need. Runs on Atlassian eligible, a badge Atlassian applies automatically.

The problem

Knowledge bases rot quietly. A runbook that was right two years ago looks exactly as authoritative as one updated yesterday, and nobody can tell the difference from the outside.

What Evergreen does

A badge on every page. Fresh, Aging or Stale, right in the byline, from when the page was last edited and when someone last confirmed it.

One-click confirmation. Mark as fresh records who checked and when, without editing the page, creating a version, or notifying watchers.

A dashboard per space. Counts, the pages needing attention sorted worst-first, filters by status and owner, bulk actions for up to 200 pages, and a review list for pages someone else must judge.

Thresholds that layer. Site defaults (90/180 days), overridable per space and per page. Exclude by label, by space, or page by page.

Good to know

Evergreen never archives, moves or deletes anything, and sends no email. It tells you what’s stale and lets people say otherwise.

Version 2.0.0for Confluence Cloud

Release date
Aug 30th 2026
Summary
First public release: freshness badges, per-space dashboards, one-click confirm.
Details

Evergreen gives every Confluence page a freshness status and gives owners a one-click way to vouch for pages that are still correct.

This first release includes:

  • A byline badge on every page: Fresh, Aging or Stale, from the last edit and the last confirmation. Confirming never edits the page, never creates a version, and never notifies watchers.
  • Per-page controls on the byline: exclude a page from tracking, or override its thresholds.
  • A dashboard per space: counts, the pages needing attention sorted worst-first, filters by status and owner, and bulk actions for up to 200 pages at once.
  • A review list: assign pages to a person and track what they were asked to look at.
  • Thresholds that layer: site defaults, space overrides, page overrides. Exclusions by label (evergreen-exempt), by space, or per page.
  • Nightly scans with a weekly full reconcile; recalculation is local and instant after a threshold change.

No external network access. Nothing leaves Atlassian.
