StoryLoop reads the issue description and your project context and proposes criteria a pull request can verify. Edit, add or remove them in the preview. Nothing is saved until you click Accept & Save.

Mention the Jira key in a PR and StoryLoop reviews the diff against that issue's criteria when it is ready for review and on every push. One comment stays current, and met criteria are ticked off on merge.
You stay the final reviewer
Criteria StoryLoop marks as met carry an AI label until someone confirms them. Switch any criterion between To Do, Done and N/A with one click. A status set by a person is never overwritten.

- Define: generate testable criteria from the issue description, or add them manually
- Verify: every PR that mentions the issue key is reviewed against its criteria on each push
- Close: met criteria are ticked off on merge, so you know when the issue is really finished
Optional gates: make the StoryLoop check required in GitHub, and add the workflow validator so issues can’t move to Done while criteria are open.
All AI runs on Atlassian’s hosted AI service. No third-party AI provider receives your code or issues from StoryLoop.
