More details

Node Status Switcher gives Confluence system administrators direct control over cluster traffic without needing to modify the load balancer. This plugin introduces a new /node-status endpoint that proxies Confluence’s native /statuscheck while allowing overrides.

With a simple admin UI, you can:

  • Remove a node from the load balancer by forcing a 503 (Maintenance) response.
  • Put nodes into “Dark Mode” for testing before live traffic.
  • Perform safe troubleshooting, maintenance, indexing, or graceful shutdowns.

Take control of node traffic directly from Confluence — ideal for live debugging, rolling upgrades, or isolating issues without disrupting your cluster.
