AURA Workflow & Approval for Confluence (Page Publishing)

The publish-to-another-space pattern is the specific feature we originally bought this app for, and it delivers completely. Authors do all their work in a locked-down working space, and only fully approved versions get mirrored across to the public one, entirely automatically. Readers never once stumble onto a half-finished draft. It quietly solved a genuinely painful problem we had wrestled with for years using fragile naming conventions and a great deal of hope.

The approval gates are exactly as rigorous as we genuinely need them to be. We set the reviewers, chose our thresholds, and the page only advances once enough of them have approved it. A single rejection sends it straight back to the author for revision. It runs the process automatically.

Variables are what make a single workflow serve our entire company. Rather than naming specific approvers on every individual page, we just reference the owner's group and it resolves correctly per page. One template now governs hundreds of pages across dozens of separate teams, and rolling it all out with bulk apply took barely an afternoon.
