Excalidraw Diagrams & LaTeX Math for Jira

Excalidraw LaTeX Math Diagrams for Jira embeds a full Excalidraw whiteboard directly into Jira — in an issue panel, a project page, or a global page for your whole instance. Sketch with Excalidraw's hand-drawn style — shapes, arrows, freehand drawing, shape libraries, dark mode, zoom, pan, undo/redo — and, in the same scene, write LaTeX to render precise math formulas and equations as scalable SVG.

Rendering uses MathJax's full package set (not a limited subset) and runs entirely in your browser, so no formula is sent to an external rendering service. Save a scene combining sketches and formulas as a template and attach that same diagram to multiple issues or projects, keeping technical planning and mathematical modeling consistent instead of rebuilt each time.

Diagrams and scenes are stored using Atlassian Forge storage — nothing leaves your Jira instance.
